About Angela
Walker
Angela Walker
has worked as an author, an LEA Literacy Consultant, an Expert
Leading Literacy Teacher, and was responsible for teaching and
learning at one of the UK’s leading Independent Prep
schools.
She is an
expert in developing children's writing and the author of
educational materials used in schools for Cambridge University
Press, Pearson, Rising Stars and Cambridge Hitachi. She is the
author of a series of Rising Stars, ‘Brain Academy’ books for Key
Stages 1, 2 & 3 in association with National Association for
Able Children in Education and Target Tracker Book 4: Assessment
and Target Setting for Writing.
She has
experience of teacher training and supporting headteachers and
schools with action planning. She has a Cambridge University Degree
in education and 16 years’ experience of leading the English
teaching in large state and private schools.
